Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive new client acquisition and growth in Indonesia. You will manage the full sales cycle, converting leads from both direct outreach and strategic partners. You’ll collaborate with our internal lead generation team and provide on-the-ground insights that shape market strategy and messaging.

This role is ideal for someone with deep relationships in the Indonesian SME ecosystem, a proven consultative sales approach, and the ability to drive market-specific adaptations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new B2B clients through both direct and partner-led channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process: lead qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with clients and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with internal lead sourcing to prioritize and convert high-potential leads.
  • Advise leadership on Indonesian market dynamics, sales messaging, and localization needs.
  • Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks to business development.
  • Deliver regular feedback on local trends, client pain points, and competitor activity.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in corporate services, HR, legal, or finance.
  • Strong network within Indonesian SMEs, business communities, or partner networks.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative, relationship-driven sales.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker who can work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of Indonesia’s regulatory and business environment is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience in navigating long-cycle sales.
