Job description

As a Business Development Representative, you will:

  • Identify and qualify new business prospects through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to convert leads into clients.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and manage the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and offer relevant solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and technical presentations.
  • Track competitor activities and provide market insights for strategic planning.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends and build key relationships.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer database.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

What we're looking for:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the pumps or mining support industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and key players.
  • Proven success in developing and closing new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with pumps, slurry systems, or dewatering solutions is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a target-driven environment.
  • Willing to be based in North Sulawesi and travel as needed within Indonesia.
  • Familiarity with South Sulawesi market dynamics is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia with working knowledge of English.
