Job description

Block Solutions Indonesia is seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Officer to help drive market growth and expand strategic partnerships. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the execution of commercial strategies aligned with our mission to revolutionize construction in Indonesia.

This is a hybrid position based in Jakarta or Bali, with flexibility for travel to other regions as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in both public and private sectors
  • Conduct market research and map potential partners, clients, and funding sources
  • Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and partnership materials tailored to different audiences
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align business development with production and project delivery
  • Support contract negotiations, MoU processes, and partnership formalization
  • Manage CRM and maintain accurate documentation of leads, meetings, and pipelines
  • Represent BSI at meetings, expos, and external stakeholder events as needed
  • Track and report on business development KPIs, risks, and opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or project sales
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; good working knowledge of English
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in sustainability, green building, or development sectors
  • Familiarity with government or NGO engagement processes
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and business intelligence tools
