Job Description
  • Research companies to contact.
  • Initiate relationships with potential Accountants or Business Managers for Business Development Sales roles in Accounting Products.
  • Make cold and warm calls to follow up or preempt email communications, manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing, including demos.
  • Experiment with different outreach strategies to identify successful approaches.
  • Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams to provide product feedback and feature requests.
  • Work with marketing to identify opportunities from leads and set appointments.
  • Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
  • Log, track, and maintain customer contact records.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Preferably have an accounting/management background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with mid-level and senior executives.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, results-focused, scrappy, and competitive.
  • Desire to achieve results and improve daily.
  • Experience in sales or marketing is a plus but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in cold calling and selling SaaS or IT products to SMEs/SMBs is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota is a plus.
  • Proficient with productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Positive attitude, hustle, resilience, and eagerness for feedback.
  • Self-motivated with good self-management skills.
  • Experience selling to HR Managers, CEOs, Accountants, or Finance Managers is a big plus.
  • Comfortable working in a small, distributed team.
