Responsibilities
  • Research companies to contact and initiate relationships with potential accounts for Business Development Sales in Accounting Products.
  • Initiate and manage relationships with potential Accountants or Business Managers as part of the sales cycle.
  • Conduct cold and warm calls to prospects, manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to demos and closing deals.
  • Experiment with outreach intervals and content to identify effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams to deliver product feedback and feature requests.
  • Work with marketing to uncover opportunities from leads and set appointments.
  • Use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
  • Log, track, and maintain customer contact and contact records.
Qualifications
  • Accounting/Management background preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with mid-level and senior executives.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, results-focused, scrappy and competitive.
  • Desire to drive results and improve continuously.
  • Prior experience selling or marketing is a plus but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience with cold calling and selling SaaS or IT products (SMEs/SMBs) is ideal; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, hustle, resilience, and openness to feedback; strong self-motivation and self-management.
  • Experience selling to HR Managers, CEOs, Accountants or Finance Managers is a plus; comfortable working in a distributed team.
