Qualifications

Job Descriptions
  • Research companies to contact.
  • Start relationships with potential Accountants or Business Managers for Business Development Sales roles focused on Accounting Products.
  • Make cold and warm calls to contacts to follow up or preempt email communications, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including demos.
  • Experiment with outreach strategies to identify effective approaches.
  • Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams to deliver product feedback and feature requests.
  • Work with marketing to discover opportunities from leads and set appointments.
  • Use strong selling skills to set qualified appointments.
  • Log and maintain customer contact records.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Preferably with an accounting or management background.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident speaking with mid-level and senior executives.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, results-focused, scrappy, and competitive.
  • Motivated to drive results and improve daily.
  • Experience in sales or marketing is a plus but not required.
  • 1-2 years of cold calling and SaaS or IT product sales experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Track record of over-achieving quotas is a plus.
  • Proficient with productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Positive attitude, hustle, resilience, and feedback receptiveness.
  • Self-motivated with good self-management skills.
  • Experience selling to HR Managers, CEOs, Accountants, or Finance Managers is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a small, distributed team.
