Your Role

Are you ready to drive growth and profitability across the Transpacific tradelane? As a Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of expanding our market presence and ensuring our commercial success in this dynamic region.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Transpacific trade lane.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Use this information to inform sales strategies.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business.
• Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
• Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market conditions.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or trade lane industry.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
