Job description

Business Development Manager (BD Logistic – 3PL)

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business/Economic/Marketing, or related major
  • Age 30-45 years old
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at a Third Party Logistics Company or related field
  • Solid sales and marketing background
  • Solid knowledge of Supply Chain Planning, Processes Analysis: Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Order Management, Transportation
  • Excellent oral communication skills; able to speak clearly and concisely; strong group presentation skills
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to write clearly and informatively with proper spelling and grammar
  • Aggressive, self-motivated, with a sense of urgency
  • Experience with completing and working with various RFPs (Request for Proposal)
  • Knowledge of Warehousing Management Systems (WMS) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
  • Understanding of General Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of Domestic and International Transportation (FTL, LTL)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy: proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Location: On-site in Bekasi

Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record in sales within the 3PL industry, with strong business acumen and logistics sales and negotiation skills
  • Identify and pursue new clients for logistics outsourcing projects
  • Achieve target revenue and margin objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Prospect, gather market intelligence, build and develop strategic relationships focusing on closing sales
  • Develop clear business plans, perform number calculations, execute strategies, and track results
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports, data, and market intelligence to the Director
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders
