Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition in Malaysia. This role focuses on building and nurturing a pipeline of enterprise opportunities, engaging with mid- to senior-level decision makers, and supporting VIDA’s go-to-market strategy across BFSI, fintech, eCommerce, and telecommunications (telco) sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities into closed deals.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, pitching, proposal development, and contract negotiation. Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at banks, fintechs, telcos, and large enterprises.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to design solutions and ensure customer success.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report on progress using CRM tools (Hubspot).
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
  • 8+ yearsof B2B enterprise sales or business development experience in BFSI, fintech, SaaS, telco, or regtech.
  • Strong network in Malaysia’s financial services, telco, and fintech ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to close enterprise-level deals and manage long sales cycles.
  • Experience selling SaaS, APIs, or compliance/identity solutions preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
