Job Purpose

Manage and supervise business development team to identify and analyze business opportunities, collaborate with company’s project team and other functions as well as external parties to conduct detailed feasibility studies, develop projects, prepare investment proposals and propose strategic recommendations to management in order to increase company value through revenue growth, cost efficiency/ improvement, and sustainability

Job Descriptions

  • Supervise business development team to perform its expected tasks to obtain good quality and deliver tasks at expected timeline
  • Supervise business development team to identify and analyse project opportunities with related stakeholders with a minimum supervision to increase value for company through the project.
  • Supervise business development team to conduct proof-of-concept study to verify the potential of selected project opportunity to enter into next development phase with a minimum supervision
  • Supervise business development team to conduct detailed feasibility study of the approved concept to assess further the cost and benefit with more in depth analysis and accuracy with a minimum supervision
  • Supervise business development team to develop investment proposal (report and presentation) as inputs for management's strategic decision with a minimum supervision
  • Supervise business development team to monitor the project execution of the approved investment proposal to ensure project runs based on its approved budget, schedule, and scope of work with a minimum supervision
  • Manage administrative tasks, prepare action plans and/or required materials following company's guideline, and propose for approval to Department Manager
  • Manage subordinate development needs (e.g. on the job training, development program, coaching, career path, industrial relations, sharing session, etc.) based on gap competency and current and future job requirements, to ensure the suitability of subordinate quality and quantity with organization needs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Engineering
  • Working experience in managerial level of any petrochemical/manufacturing companies, commercial sector or public consulting firm
  • 10 years of similar experience in business development in a large-scale of companies or consulting firm
  • Ability to conduct/ check feasibility study and construct financial model for business cases
  • Ability to do Project management/ planning
  • Highly analytical and able to analyze complex data / market trends to support the busineness development initiatves
  • Proven leadership in managing a team to work well in paralel projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to produce outstanding business proposals presentation to managemen
  • Excellent communication skill and fluent in English
