Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

The Business Development function is responsible for planning, executing, and managing strategic and tactical change projects in the APAC region.

Primary duties will include:

  • Gather business requirements across various Front Office and support functions locally and internationally in relation to change projects
  • Determine or actively contribute to ideation and solutions for complex cross-functional issues/problems and large system implementations/migrations
  • Full-cycle project management and responsible ownership for overall objectives
  • Active engagement with Front Office and support teams to stay updated on latest developments from business and support perspectives
  • Accurate and effective reporting of project status and other KPI/MIS
Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • A good understanding of financial markets workflows in one or more of the asset classes below:
    • Exchange-Traded Derivatives
    • OTC derivatives
    • Wholesale FX
    • Fixed Income and Equities
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to connect and secure buy-in from stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking ability and a natural inquisitiveness to enable you to anticipate and investigate business challenges
  • A strong ability to understand, critically review, and implement systems, workflows, and processes
  • Strong organisation skills and high standards of accuracy, delivery, and time management
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis
