Artadia Group seeks a dynamic Business Development professional to lead the growth of its Dreamscape division, targeting premium retail partnerships across Indonesia. This role involves identifying market opportunities, securing retail partnerships, and implementing expansion strategies, contributing significantly to the company's national impact.
Artadia Group is looking for a hands-on Business Development to growth of its Dreamscape division — a curated platform for global houseware and kitchenware brands such as Joseph Joseph, Lund London, Berghoff, Shupatto, Karlsson Clocks and more. This is an individual contributor role, ideal for a self-starter who can independently build distribution networks, secure premium retail partnerships, and drive national expansion in the offline retail and modern trade space.
Take full ownership of Dreamscape’s offline growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, opening stores, and securing retail partners across Indonesia. The focus is on premium supermarkets, department stores, lifestyle retailers, and wholesale channels.
Identify and pursue new retail opportunities in priority cities, especially outside Java
Approach and negotiate with supermarkets, department stores, and home/lifestyle retailers
Build direct relationships with buyers and retail decision-makers
Plan and execute expansion strategies, including market research and feasibility analysis
Oversee product onboarding, merchandising, and store performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (logistics, finance, procurement)
Attend trade shows and industry events to grow business network
Track and report performance, challenges, and market insights directly to senior management
Secure 4+ new premium retail partners each quarter
Maintain ≥ 75% sell-through rate in key stores
Ensure 100% availability of best-selling SKUs in all locations
Launch 2+ in-store campaigns or brand activations per quarter
5+ years of experience in retail business development, modern trade, or distribution (houseware or consumer goods preferred)
Proven ability to independently drive commercial expansion
Skilled in B2B negotiations, partner acquisition, and store activation
Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build something from scratch
