Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to increase revenue. This role involves market research, lead generation, sales negotiations, and collaboration with marketing and sales teams to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Strategy
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth areas.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, digital outreach, and industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Negotiate deals and close agreements to maximize profitability.
Establish partnerships with key stakeholders, vendors, and industry influencers.
Work closely with marketing teams to align business development strategies.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
4. Reporting & Performance Analysis
Track and report on sales performance metrics and business development activities.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market research and sales data.
Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and client interactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience (3-5+ years) in business development, sales, or a similar role.
Track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
