Job Description
- Plan and manage the division according to agreed country development strategies.
- Manage the divisional P&L within allocated budget
- Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and values in all areas of operational activity
- Support the delivery of all marketing campaigns
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and optimisation of quality of Sales Rep proficiency and Application competency.
- Provide periodic reports on performance of the division against the set targets to the General Manager/Leadership team
- Monitor and provide guidance on the development of qualified customer database for targeted segments
- Provide guidance to team in Key account management ensuring that high levels of customer satisfaction is consistently achieved
- Support the design and execution of all marketing campaigns, leads generation and management activities
- Participate in Sales visits to key customers to build customer relationship and be their preferred vendor
- Manage the Sales team in qualifying database and updating CRM
- Establishing new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedules
- Identifying current and potential customer requirements by establishing personal rapport and understanding key requirements
- Articulate technology and product positioning to both the business and technical users and ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales processes
- Provide expert advice and guidance on product & technical information to team and potential/existing customers
- Provide necessary support in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Communicate regulatory compliance requirements and applications effectively, demonstrating market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields
- Provide required support in interaction with customers' engineering teams to effectively illustrate value proposition
- Clearly and concisely communicate business and area objectives to team leaders so that they remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution to targets
- Take charge of recruitment and ensure effective induction for new team members, monitoring ongoing performance needs
- Manage performance and development of team to maximise sales performance of division
- Plan for succession in the Business Area through the identification of individuals with potential for development and growth
- Encourage Sales Managers/Team Leaders to continuously develop knowledge of local market conditions to identify trends and make appropriate/innovative recommendations to improve and enhance divisional performance
The Successful Applicant
- Degree preferably in Science, Engineering or related field
- Master in Business Administration will be an advantage
- Able to develop and execute business strategies and plans
- Able to read & understand basic financial reports
- Minimum 10 years working experience in a Technical sales Environment with extensive supervision experience
- Understanding of sales & distribution with sound project management skills
- Ability to travel extensively (within Indonesia)
- Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability
- Strong English
