Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will play a key role in providing financial and operational data insights to support informed decision-making by our shareholders and management team. You will be responsible for collecting data from various departments, analyzing it thoroughly, and transforming it into clear, actionable reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

1. Gather data from various departments, including finance, sales, operations, and IT, to create a comprehensive view of the company's performance.
2. Clean, organize, and analyze financial and operational data using strong analytical skills.
3. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and strategic planning.
4. Create clear and concise reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data to shareholders and management.
5. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
6. Prepare presentations to deliver data-driven insights to shareholders and management, recommending courses of action based on findings.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in a data-driven or financial services environment.
3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and data analysis methods.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify key insights from data.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor reports and presentations to different audiences.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
7. Experience with financial modeling software (e.g., Financial Modeling Language) a plus.
