Job description

One of our client, a Plastics Manufacturing in Serang is looking for a Business Analyst, details as below :

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the integrity of the cost accounting system by ensuring that internal controls are implemented.
• Work closely with managers to improve our systems when internal control weaknesses are noted.
• Report daily and monthly on margin deteriorations throughout all product lines.
• Work with Manufacturing to ensure accuracy of inventory quantities using the cycle count program while preparing the cycle count sheets.
• Manipulate and translate data into various reports with actionable insights.
• Add/update part numbers, BOM and routers. Build cost to standard costing.
• Coordinate and work closely with Customer Service and Production to ensure invoicing is performed accurately after all labor is entered on the last work day of each month.
• Input quantity adjustments into the material transaction file.
• Record all nonstandard inventory adjustments and reconcile all inventory accounts.
• Perform month end processes, reports, and evaluate results.
• Proof and close sales, close job costing, and inventory control at month/year end.
• Work with Assistant Controller on month end close and journal entries.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Business with a quantitative focus (cost background experience preferred). MBA degree would be ideal for analysis.
• Minimum of 2-5 years professional experience (in a manufacturing setting preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required.
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Should be excellent in English and communication should be very good.
• Should have thorough knowledge of MS office and conversant with ERP.
• Should have good knowledge of Accounts, Finance and Tax having SI in Accountancy with tax brevet courses as advantages.
• Should have worked for a minimum of 5-7 years in an executive position in a manufacturing company.
• Should possess analytical and system driven skills.
• Should have good interpersonal skills and ability for innovative ideas.
