Job summary

Japfa is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely handle, load, and unload feed and CKD materials within its Indonesian facilities. The role supports smooth material flow and plant efficiency by operating forklifts, loaders, excavators, and bulldozers, while performing routine checks and maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of industrial experience, a valid operator certification (SIO preferred), and a strong safety mindset. Shift work, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years' experience operating heavy equipment in industrial/manufacturing environments, preferably feed milling.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification/license (e.g., SIO for Indonesia).
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, safety principles, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina for varied weather conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, forklifts, loaders, and bulldozers for material handling.
• Load and unload feed ingredients, finished feed products, and CKD materials.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility following safety protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-operation checks and basic maintenance on assigned heavy equipment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around heavy equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Assist with other general labor tasks to support plant operations.
