Job summary

Air Liquide Indonesia is seeking a Bulk Logistics Manager to lead the distribution team, optimize fleet efficiency, and drive cost-improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and full regulatory compliance. You will oversee assets such as tractors and ISO tanks, manage CAPEX and CAPA, and report KOIs to executives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics or Engineering and at least 7 years in bulk logistics, preferably in chemicals or industrial gases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering.
• 7+ years in bulk logistics; background in Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Gases preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel with data-modeling habits.
• Programming knowledge (e.g., Google Apps Script) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bulk Logistics team, including drivers, dispatchers, and analysts.
• Optimize fleet efficiency and cost-improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Drive the S&OP process with production facilities and stakeholders.
• Oversee daily delivery activities, route planning, and Load per KM optimization.
• Manage asset utilization, maintenance, and uptime for tractors and ISO tanks.
• Investigate transport incidents and implement CAPA actions.
• Monitor KOIs and logistics costs; prepare monthly cost analyses and CAPEX tracking.

How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?

As the Bulk Logistics Manager for Air Liquide Indonesia, you will lead the distribution team to execute all bulk deliveries with zero compromise on safety. You will strategically optimize fleet efficiency, drive continuous cost-improvement initiatives, and guarantee full regulatory compliance to meet short- and long-term operational targets.

Lead and manage the Bulk Logistics team, including drivers, dispatchers, and analysts, ensuring seamless daily coordination.

Drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in close collaboration with production facilities and key stakeholders.

Oversee daily delivery activities, continuously refining route planning and load factors to optimize the Load per KM metric.

Manage the utilization, maintenance, and maximum uptime of all assets, including tractors, cryogenic tanker trailers, and ISO tanks.

Enforce strict adherence to Air Liquide Group standards and local safety regulations across all workflows, assets, and personnel.

Lead thorough investigations into transport incidents, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Oversee the logistics budget, perform detailed monthly cost analyses, and execute strategic cost-reduction initiatives.

Prepare, justify, and meticulously track Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) requirements and asset allocations.

Monitor, achieve, and report on key operational indicators (KOIs) and logistics cost targets to executive leadership.

Maintain systematic, logical data architectures while ensuring proactive, cross-border communication across shifting time zones.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an Engineering discipline.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in bulk logistics, with a preference for backgrounds in Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Gases.

Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, featuring strong data-modeling habits and analytical techniques.

Demonstrated capability to learn new systems quickly, with programming knowledge (e.g., Google Apps Script) considered a distinct plus.

Detail-oriented mindset with a proven track record of managing strict compliance frameworks and complex asset structures.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to anticipate operational disruptions, adapt to unexpected situations, and manage cross-functional teams.
