Job summary

Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd. invites skilled seafarers to join our growing and diverse fleet. You will perform welding and repair tasks on engine room machinery, pipelines and steel structures, while supporting maintenance with Deck and Engine teams.

holder of STCW certifications and a welder certificate, preferably 6G/Class welding, plus LATHE experience, are required. Minimum 8 months on the same vessel, with English proficiency and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Welder certificate with LATHE machine, preferably 6G or Class welding.
• Valid COC (STCW Reg III/4 or III/5).
• Valid STCW certifications for the position.

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATION

Performs tasks of welding, and repair of engine room machinery, pipelines, and steel structures.

Support in maintenance activities with Dec and Engine teams.

Holder of Welder certificate with LATHE machine, preferably as 6 G or Class welding

Holder of a valid COC (STCW Reg III/4 or III/5)

Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.

Experienced in multicultural environments with leadership skills.

Proficiency in spoken English language with safety-focused mindset.

VESSEL’S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank on the same type of vessel.

Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Contract Duration [9 months +/- 1 months]
