Job description

As the Branch Manager for Market Expansion, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and establishing new branches in strategic locations, particularly in shopping malls, and sourcing potential franchisees.

Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential locations for new branches, with a strong focus on retail expansion in shopping malls.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to develop effective expansion strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with mall management and landlords to secure the best locations.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to the senior management team based on market analysis.

Branch Establishment and Development

  • Plan and execute the opening of new branches, including site selection, lease negotiations, and store setup.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of store expansion, from contract negotiation to grand opening.
  • Ensure smooth store fit-out, branding, and operational readiness before launch.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive foot traffic and brand awareness in new locations.

Franchisee Acquisition

  • Identify and engage potential franchisees who align with our brand values and business goals.
  • Conduct franchisee recruitment and selection processes, including interviews and negotiations.
  • Provide training and support to new franchisees to ensure their success.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage branch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure operational excellence and high standards of customer service in new branches.

Requirements

  • Willingness to be placed in Sumatera.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in branch or franchise expansion, preferably in retail fashion, beauty, or electronics.
  • Proven success in store establishment, particularly in shopping malls (site selection, lease negotiations, store setup, and opening).
  • Experience in handling negotiations with mall management and commercial leasing.
  • Strong retail operations background, ensuring seamless store opening and profitable performance.
  • Proficient in market research and analysis to guide expansion strategies.
  • Experience in franchisee recruitment, training, and support.
  • Strong leadership skills, with expertise in staff recruitment and training.
  • Ability to develop effective marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and business development.
