Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Midwife to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for expectant mothers, assisting during labor and delivery, and offering postnatal care to both the mother and newborn. Your focus will be on ensuring the health and safety of both the mother and the baby through all stages of pregnancy and childbirth.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine prenatal check-ups, monitor the progress of pregnancy, and assess the health of both the mother and the fetus.
2. Provide advice and education to expectant mothers on proper pregnancy care, labor preparation, and postnatal recovery.
3. Assist during labor and delivery, ensuring the safe birth of the baby.
4. Provide immediate postnatal care to the mother and newborn, including monitoring vital signs and addressing any complications.
5. Offer family planning advice and education on reproductive health.
6. Document all medical actions and patient details accurately, following healthcare protocols.
7. Work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals in the management of complicated cases.
8. Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of medical tools and equipment in accordance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in Midwifery (D3/S1 in Midwifery) from a recognized institution.
2. A valid and current Midwife Registration Certificate (STR).
3. Previous experience as a midwife is preferred but not required.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work empathetically with patients.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations as needed.
7. A commitment to continuous professional development.
