Hijack Sandals in Makassar is seeking a Barista to join our team. The role focuses on crafting beverages to our standards, maintaining espresso consistency, and delivering warm hospitality to guests.

Ideal candidates have at least 8 months in the coffee industry, are confident with espresso extraction and milk texturing, and can handle busy hours. Weekend availability and friendly communication are essential; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Calm, organized, and able to work well during busy hours.

Responsibilities

• Craft coffee and other beverages following Hijack Sandals/Rea Coffee Studio standards.
• Perform daily dial-in and maintain espresso consistency.
• Ensure every drink looks beautiful and tastes its best.
• Welcome every guest with warm and genuine hospitality.
• Keep the bar, equipment, and workspace clean and organized.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
• Help monitor stock and handle ingredients with care.
• Support daily operational tasks and documentation when needed.
