Our client, a leading hospitality group in Indonesia with multiple established locations, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive beverage revenue.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mixologist and Bar leader for a minimum of two years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of cocktails with a keen eye for balance, flavour, and creativity
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Energetic, passionate, and committed to growing within the hospitality industry
- Excellent in written and spoken English communications.
- Creativity and passion for beverage creation.
- Ability and flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Bar Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring high service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the bar team to deliver a top-tier beverage experience.
- Ensure bar cleanliness, hygiene, adequate stock levels, and full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage beverage inventory, control costs, and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Menu Development & Innovation
- Develop and implement a creative, seasonal cocktail menu that aligns with the restaurants culinary concept.
- Stay up to date with beverage trends, incorporate local ingredients, and craft unique signature drinks.
- Organize regular tastings, staff trainings, and product knowledge sessions to maintain service excellence.
Content Collaboration & Branding
- Partner with the internal photo/video team to produce visually appealing content for digital platforms.
- Participate in photoshoots, cocktail-making videos, and storytelling initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
- Represent the bar in marketing content and campaigns when needed.
Team Collaboration & Guest Experience
- Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
- Engage with guests to provide a personalized and memorable experience at the bar.
- Address guest feedback professionally and proactively work on service improvements.
