Job description

Ensure staff works together as a team. Inspect grooming and attire, and rectify deficiencies. Communicate with guests and staff to meet guest needs. Respond to special banquet arrangements. Set up banquet areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper furniture/equipment arrangement. Maintain table set-ups according to standards and resolve issues. Document relevant information in the department logbook.

Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff. Develop positive relationships and support team goals. Follow safety and security policies; report incidents and unsafe conditions. Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect assets. Greet and acknowledge guests, anticipate needs, assist guests with disabilities, and show appreciation. Communicate professionally and answer phones appropriately. Ensure quality standards are met. Verify information visually. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds alone, over 75 pounds with assistance. Use fine motor skills for handling objects. Navigate uneven surfaces and stairs. Reach, bend, twist, and stoop as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.

Experience: At least 1 year in related work and supervisory roles.
