Job summary

PT Swa Widya Nusantara is seeking an experienced General Manager in Bali to lead an international hospitality and tourism business. The role demands commercial drive, operational excellence, strong leadership, and a premium guest experience.

You will own the commercial performance, build strategic relationships with hotels and luxury partners, mentor a high-performing team, and ensure service standards align with Bali's premium hospitality ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in hospitality, tourism, lifestyle or a service-driven business.
• Strong track record in commercial growth, sales, and revenue generation.
• Experience with premium hospitality standards and high-end guest service.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the commercial performance, operations, people, and guest experience.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability while maintaining high service standards.
• Identify and develop opportunities across premium hospitality, tourism, weddings, events, corporate, travel and lifestyle segments.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with hotels, luxury resorts, villas, DMCs, wedding planners, event agencies, travel advisors, concierge networks, corporate accounts, and other partners.
• Personally manage relationships with key accounts and high-value clients.
• Maintain an active market presence and represent the business within Bali's hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, and business communities.
• Work with sales and marketing to ensure commercial activities yield measurable results.
• Monitor sales pipelines, revenue performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure consistently high standards of service and guest experience.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Build a culture that is commercially ambitious, service-oriented, collaborative, and accountable.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control, revenue, profitability, and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency.
• Work with Owner/Director on business planning and growth initiatives.
• Protect and strengthen the company's premium positioning and guest experience.
• Oversee VIP, corporate, event, and high-value client experiences when appropriate.
• Gather feedback from clients and partners to continuously improve the business.
