PT Excellent Accounting Partners in Badung, Bali, seeks a Junior Tax / Accounting Consultant for a full-time role in our Bali office. You will work with senior consultants and clients to provide comprehensive tax and accounting solutions, building a solid foundation in financial reporting and tax compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, assisting with bookkeeping, conducting tax research, and supporting financial statement preparation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (Excel, QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving with a logical approach to solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English.
• Professional approach to client interactions and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Indonesian tax law, VAT procedures and corporate compliance requirements.
• Preferably experience or certification in Indonesian taxation (Brevet A or similar) would be advantageous.
• Commitment to professional development and pursuing further accounting or tax qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns, including corporate income tax, personal income tax, and VAT documentation.
• Assisting with bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for multiple clients.
• Conducting tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current Indonesian tax regulations and updates.
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Performing account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies or areas requiring adjustment.
• Providing preliminary tax planning advice to clients on structuring and optimising their tax position.
• Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial documentation and information for tax and accounting purposes.
• Maintaining accurate and organised client files and records in compliance with firm standards.
• Supporting senior consultants with ad-hoc accounting and tax projects as required.
• Staying updated with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure best practice.
