Job summary

Outsized is seeking 1–3 consultants to support a strategic and feasibility study for government entities in Indonesia. The engagement runs Nov 2 or Nov 9 to Dec 18, 2026, and requires on-site work in Jakarta five days a week.

Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential, with 3+ years of consulting experience and strong market research, data analysis, modelling, synthesis and presentation development skills. Industry experience in transportation, agriculture or energy is beneficial.

Job description

Our client, a top-tier global consulting firm, is seeking 1-3 consultants with fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English to support a strategic and feasibility study for government entities in Indonesia.

The engagement will run from 2 or 9 November until 18 December 2026. Consultants must be available to work on-site in Jakarta 5 days a week.

The project will focus on assessing opportunities across two industries spanning transportation, agriculture and energy, with an emphasis on market research, analytical modelling, data synthesis and developing project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic and feasibility studies across the relevant industries.
• Analyse data, develop models and synthesise findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, reports and other project deliverables for government stakeholders.
• Work closely with the consulting team to structure analyses, validate findings and develop recommendations.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders and conduct project activities in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Support project execution and deliverables throughout the engagement period.
• Ideally 3+ years of consulting experience, with strong general consulting and analytical skills.
• Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
• Strong experience in market research, data analysis, modelling, synthesis and presentation development.
• Prior experience in strategy, feasibility studies or similar consulting engagements is preferred.
• Exposure to transportation / maritime, agriculture or energy is advantageous. Experience in commodities or shipping is a plus.
• Consulting backgrounds are preferred, although industry professionals with relevant maritime experience will also be considered.
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta 5 days a week for the full engagement period.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
