Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in backend server development.
• Familiar with languages such as Golang, Python, C++, or Java.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, networking, OS fundamentals.
• Experience with MySQL and distributed databases.
• Familiar with Redis and Kafka middleware.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes microservice architecture.
• Familiar with distributed systems, performance tuning, and caching.

Responsibilities

• Realizing business goals by implementing features for Shopee’s platform, including return/refund and clearing/settlement.
• Designing and building distributed systems optimized for performance and reliability.
• Writing high-quality, maintainable code with proper testing and CI/CD practices.
• Researching and executing projects to enhance system functionality and middleware.
• Collaborating with engineers, product managers, QA, and operations to deliver impact.
