Job Description

As a Back End Developer at MadeIndonesia, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of our web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will work closely with our front end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to implement robust and scalable solutions. The task includes creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire Back End.

• Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
• Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
• Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
• Evaluate software programs for performance issues, bugs, and design flaws.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
• Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
• Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
• Implement Back-end security best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experienced in developing web applications using PHP frameworks or CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Solid understanding of web design concepts and proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript (including backend usage and AJAX).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience working with web services such as RESTful APIs and other integrations.
• Familiarity with Laravel or Symfony frameworks is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willing to work onsite (WFO) in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
