Main Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and execution of a market-specific content strategy that aligns with the global brand direction while resonating deeply with local cultural nuances and beauty trends.
  2. Act as the brand's expert on the local market, possessing an intimate understanding of the local culture, communities, and social media platforms, with a particular focus on beauty trends.
  3. Oversee the end-to-end digital content creation process, from ideation and planning to execution and optimization, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the communities we are engaging with.
  4. Manage relationships with key agency partners by providing clear and insightful briefs that leverage Content Supply Chain (powered by AI) and the local creator ecosystem.
  5. Ensure digital content is culturally relevant, engaging, and authentic.
  6. Continuously analyze content performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and adapt the content strategy to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  1. Proven experience in leading creative content teams or projects, ideally in beauty or related industries (fashion, lifestyle).
  2. Experience as a social media content creator with a strong understanding of local culture and platform nuances.
  3. Strong understanding of beauty products, trends, ingredients, and industry terminology across makeup, skincare, haircare, etc.
  4. Demonstrated ability in content strategy development, execution, and creating engaging, on-brand content.
  5. Experience exploring and implementing new content creation technologies, including AI tools.
  6. Proven success in briefing, managing, and collaborating with external agencies.
  7. Comfort with analytics to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Experience using generative AI tools for content creation (preferred).

Skills

  1. Exceptional writing and editing skills, mastery of tone, and compelling copywriting in beauty.
  2. Strong visual storytelling skills across photography, video, and graphics.
  3. Ability to develop and execute data-driven content plans.
  4. Leadership and project management experience.
  5. Passion for beauty and its trends.

Technology & AI Integration

  1. Knowledge of how Gen AI tools work, their capabilities, and limitations.
  2. Comfort exploring new content creation tools and platforms, including AR/VR.
  3. Ability to leverage data and analytics for AI-powered content decisions.
  4. Awareness of ethical considerations in AI content creation.

Agency Collaboration

  1. Developing clear briefs for agencies.
  2. Building strong relationships and providing constructive feedback.
  3. Implementing quality control processes.
  4. Understanding cultural differences when working across regions.
