Description:

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maximizing trade acquisition by enhancing trade acquisition strategies across both urban and rural markets. This role involves developing comprehensive marketing plans, sales forecasts, and operational strategies to drive growth and achieve sales objectives. The incumbent will analyze key problem and opportunity areas, structure data-gathering processes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Additionally, this position plays a critical role in evaluating market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to inform marketing actions. He / she will also contribute to the development of presentation materials and innovative approaches aimed at expanding the reach and effectiveness of all product lines. This role requires a strategic mindset, analytical acumen, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure revenue growth and brand success in the prepaid segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Acquisition Plan:Develops comprehensive trade acquisition plans and sales forecasts. Target setting for Gross Addition and Quality Sim Selling Outlet.
  • Retail & Geo Segmentation Program Development: Develop key priorities and trade program initiatives based on retail and geo segmentation. Work closely with marketing and regions for product and market segmentation. Trade program based on retail segment and geo segment.
  • Sales & Distribution Expansion to gain subscriber addition: Setting goal and target for distribution expansion into quality sim selling target and profit plans to drive subscribers' growth.
  • Market Analysis & Data Processing:Identify market trends, analyze sales performance, and structure data-gathering functions. Comprehensive market insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Evaluation & Marketing Recommendations:Evaluate trade performance data and recommend marketing actions to optimize sales. Improved trade marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment:Work with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and operations) to enhance trade acquisition initiatives. Seamless execution of trade marketing programs and alignment across departments.
  • Materials Development & Brand Expansion:Develop presentations and materials for trade marketing initiatives to support business expansion. High-quality marketing assets that drive product visibility and adoption.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:Monitor trade acquisition performance, generate reports, and refine strategies as needed. Continuous improvement in trade performance and sales impact.
  • Budgeting & Financial Control:Prepare and control commission and incentive budgets. Ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI of incentive plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trade marketing, brand acquisition, or a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful trade acquisition strategies.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and trade marketing principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and customer behavior.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and CRM software.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with trade partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel as needed for trade visits and market research.
