A leading automotive manufacturing company seeks a Production Manager to oversee production activities, ensuring efficiency and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in management, knowledge of Lean principles, and strong leadership skills, along with proficiency in ERP systems. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes and leading a dedicated team toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Plan, organize, and supervise automotive production activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Monitor production metrics (efficiency, output, downtime) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure production lines operate at optimal capacity while minimizing waste and downtime.
Be able to understand system management and control the flow of production
Able to use ERP Software related to production such as SAP or Odoo
Be able to create a production layout that optimizes production activities
Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, line leaders, and assembly workers.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and enforce company policies.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support the internal team with training new models by the principle and communicate with them to solve issues during training (Communicate using English)
1. Production Management:

Ensure all components meet industry and company quality standards.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures in line with IATF, ISO, or other audit requirements
Address non-conformities caused by production process and lead root cause analysis for defects.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing K3 and company safety policies.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Identify and implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency.
Optimize resource utilization (labor, materials, equipment) to reduce production costs.
Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to enhance production processes.
Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Monitor inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
Make Weekly and Monthly Reports to see any trends and changes in Production
Liaise with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HR) to resolve production issues.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years working in a manufacturing company
3+ years of Production Management experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Skills:
Can speak English in a professional setting
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of automotive production systems (e.g., assembly, welding, painting).
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.
Understanding of AIAG standards (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or similar.
