Job summary

Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems in the factory.
- Manage team of engineers/technicians to execute automation projects and troubleshooting.
- Identify opportunities for automation to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
- Design and oversee the installation of automated equipment, robotics, jigs, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with Production, EHS, IE, and CI teams to ensure automation projects align with business needs.
- Develop standard work instructions, preventive maintenance plans, and training for operators/technicians.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting to management.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies (IoT, robotics, data integration) for manufacturing excellence.
- Support audits, customer visits, and technical presentations related to automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in automation or manufacturing engineering (leadership experience preferred).
- Fresh graduates with strong leadership and people management skills will be considered.
- Excellent English language skills are preferred (both written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge in PLC programming, robotics, sensors, and industrial control systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD / SolidWorks for mechanical and electrical design.
- Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
