Job summary

Flex is seeking an Automation Engineer in Batam, Indonesia, to design, implement, and maintain automation systems for manufacturing processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 1 year of automation experience in high-tech electronics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar field.
Minimum 1 year of automation engineering experience in high technology electronics.
Mechatronics design experience including robot / cobot implementations.
Automated control through PLC programming.
Experience developing devices with automatic camera recognition.
Circuit design skills for equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and modify automation equipment to automate manufacturing processes.
Establish manuals, drawings, models, training docs, and maintenance plans for automated systems.
Ensure uptime via preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure efficient automation operations.
Identify improvements and drive changes to enhance automation effectiveness.
