Job summary

A leading logistics company in Indonesia is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee the installation and maintenance of automation systems. This role requires a strong background in Mechanical or Automotive engineering, along with project management abilities. Candidates must be proficient in English and have substantial experience in site installation, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of site installation experience in project handling.
• Specialized in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Equivalent qualification and proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SLA indicators for the automation system are met.
• Coordinate with vendors for system improvements and maintenance.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.

PLC knowledge

Job description

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 3-4 Year(s) of Site installation experience in project handling for Indonesia or overseas
• Specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
• PLC (software and hardware) knowledge and experience will be advantageous
• VFD calibration experience will be advantageous
• Good commands of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the SLA indicators set for the automation system are met
• Coordinate with vendor(s) for improvements and maintenance of the system if it does not meet the KPIs set out by the contract
• Ensure all work is carried out in proper and safe manner
• Review of system periodically with team to ensure reliability
• Preventive maintenance scheduling for vendor or internal team
• Coordination of spare parts and inventory management
• Liason for Regional Ops and local Ops team in country for automation
