PharmEng Technology is seeking a qualified Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in mechatronics, electrical, or electronic engineering, and demonstrated expertise in automation systems within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer products, or over-the-counter (OTC) manufacturing.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading automation initiatives, designing and maintaining control systems, and ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Lead and support automation and digitalization projects in alignment with Smart Operations initiatives
Design, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Omron)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical and electronic systems (e.g., sensors, pumps, controllers)
Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to execute project deliverables
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including ISO 13849-1 & 2
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and technical reports
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering within a regulated industry
Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA systems, industrial sensors, and e-CMMS platforms
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required
