Job Description Summary : To support the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems, AI models, and digital tools that enhance operational efficiency, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making in palm oil mills and derivative processing plants. This role contributes directly to achieving higher productivity, reduced downtime, and improved sustainability through Industry 4.0 technologies.
Automation Systems Development & Support
- Assist in the design, programming, testing, and maintenance of industrial automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- Troubleshoot automation and control system faults across production areas (e.g., sterilizers, digesters, presses, clarification units).
- Support integration of new hardware and software for process control and automation.
Digitalization & Data Integration
- Develop and maintain real-time data acquisition systems using IoT sensors and edge computing devices.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of dashboards, MES, and smart factory interfaces.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between automation systems and plant information management systems.
AI/ML Implementation Support
- Collect, clean, and organize process data for use in AI/ML models (e.g., for predictive maintenance or quality forecasting).
- Assist in training and validating AI algorithms under supervision of the Lead.
- Support model deployment and monitor performance to ensure expected outcomes.
Project Execution & Commissioning
- Participate in site surveys, installation, and commissioning of digital and automation projects.
- Work closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure systems are tested, documented, and compliant with safety and operational standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and system manuals.
- Prepare daily/weekly activity reports, incident logs, and performance summaries for management review.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation or digital upgrades in plant processes.
- Recommend new technologies, methods, or tools for enhanced process efficiency.
- Stay updated on latest trends in AI, automation, and industrial digitalization.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Having min 4 years of working experience in Automation Digitalization
- Good in Analytical Thinking
- Willing to be located in Lampung Refinery
