Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of practical Data Scientist experience deploying ML models to production.
• Strong knowledge of ML, NLP, LLMs, CV, clustering, and tree-based algorithms.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with Spark/Airflow/MLflow experience.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines with data quality.
• Strong software engineering practices (Git, unit testing, CI/CD).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience in fintech/payments/KYC/KYB/AML/fraud detection.
• Familiarity with MLOps, cloud, API development, and containerization.
• Experience with graph analytics and multilingual NLP/LLMs; aware of Indonesian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize ML, statistical, and LLM-based automation solutions for merchant risk and KYB.
• Develop automated verification, classification, and decisioning models to improve onboarding.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines including feature engineering, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Monitor model performance, data quality, governance to ensure auditable decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Merchant Operations to translate needs into automation.
• Experiment and optimize thresholds to balance fraud prevention with growth.
• Communicate insights and model performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders; ensure data privacy.
• Stay up-to-date with data science trends and pursue continuous learning.
