Responsibilities
- Support NPI Engineers in managing new product introduction projects and engineering changes.
- Coordinate product transfer activities from customers or design centers to manufacturing.
- Review customer documentation, including BOMs, Gerber files, assembly drawings, specifications, and engineering change notices (ECNs).
- Assist in preparing manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, and BOM validations.
- Coordinate sample builds, prototype builds, pilot runs, and pre-production activities.
- Monitor NPI project schedules and follow up on action items to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Process Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Production Planning, and Manufacturing.
- Support material readiness verification and ensure all required components are available before production build.
- Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues during prototype and pilot production stages.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize production data and yield performance for management review.
- Participate in customer meetings, audits, and project reviews as required.
- Support engineering change implementation and documentation control activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or other applicable standards.
- Prepare regular project status reports and maintain project documentation records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing will have an advantage.
- Experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Cable Harness, Assembly, Box Build, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with NPI, project coordination, or production engineering activities is an advantage.
- Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of NPI processes, product transfer, and engineering change management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and Control Plans is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
