Asst Manager , Shipping

Job opening for PT Agro Murni, Dumai, Indonesia, part of Mewah Group

Your responsibility is to oversee the operational functions of the Shipping Dept; plan, propose and/or implement necessary improvements which would enhance and/or preserve shipping-logistic operations systems' integrity and security.

1. Monitor and execute trade order processing, export shipment documentation, import & export shipment activities.
2. Ensure that departmental procedures and/or working instructions are being adhered to via reviewing and recommending changes to policies and procedures if/where deemed necessary.
3. Initiation of specific on-the-job-training and mentoring system; coaching, guiding, and directing staff in daily operation activities.
4. Participate in internal/external audit; ensure all audit requirements are being fulfilled/complied to.
5. Ensure that customers’ requests within contractual scope are met consistently throughout the year and review customer satisfaction survey feedback.
6. Propose and/or implement necessary improvements which would enhance and/or preserve shipping-logistic operations systems' integrity and security.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree from all majors.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in import export shipping, preferably in the palm oil industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Bonded zone, Shipping, local regulations, and international trade laws and custom audit.
4. Hands-on experience with Portal CEISA 4.0 and Website INSW is a MUST.
5. Honest, hardworking, responsible.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
