A leading manufacturing company in the piping industry seeks an Assistant Production Manager to oversee production teams and improve operational efficiencies. Candidates should have strong project management skills, technical knowledge in manufacturing, and relevant qualifications. The role involves monitoring KPIs and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
Supervise and coordinate the production team to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes aligned with SOPs.
Able to read technical drawings and provide effective solutions when production issues arise.
Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
Monitor production targets, manpower efficiency (MP), and KPIs such as OEE; report progress regularly.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as logistics, maintenance, and quality control to ensure seamless operations.
What we're looking for
Maximum age 40 years old.
Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Production Manager or similar role within the manufacturing/production industry.
Strong operational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Sound technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control practices.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting to monitor and improve productivity.
Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, operations, or a related discipline (preferred in piping industry).
