Job summary

PT Nippon Steel Chemical and Material Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, experience with CAD/CAM and ERP, and a solid grasp of ISO/HSE standards.

The candidate will supervise the maintenance team, plan preventive and predictive maintenance, and collaborate with other departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Maintenance Manager in manufacturing automotive, preferably Japanese company.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiar with CAD/CAM; ERP systems experience preferred.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001, SMK3, PROPER familiarity.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with strong HSE knowledge.
• Japanese language skills preferred.
• Certifications related to maintenance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare maintenance reports and KPI analyses; coach the team.

Job description

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably in manufacturing automotive Japanese company.

Strong knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical systems.

Able to operate CAD/CAM will be an advantage.

Experience in Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good presentation and communication skills.

Strong safety awareness and knowledge of HSE practices.

Able to speak Japanese is prefered

Have a sertification relatable is preferred

Familiar of handling ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, SMK3, AEO, and PROPER.

Familiar with ERP System.

Maintenance Manager Job Descriptions
