Job Description

About the job: The Associate Senior Interaction Designer is responsible for specific phases of design projects, producing outputs such as research reports, usability testing reports, wireframes, user flow screens, and prototypes from low to high fidelity.

He/She conducts research to gather data, translates insights into design outcomes, uncovers new ideas, and tests value propositions and usability. Communicating results effectively is essential.

The role involves working in a team, staying updated on industry trends, developing business acumen, and mastering interaction design fundamentals and technical skills for digital products and services. The designer must manage multiple tasks, participate in various project phases, and deliver within deadlines, accommodating iterations. Stakeholder management skills are crucial for partnering with internal teams to develop creative solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on design experience, with a background in Visual Communication, Interaction, Product, or Service Design, or related fields like Human-Computer Interaction or Computer Science, with practical design experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating interaction design skills and understanding of Human-Centered Design principles, with a willingness to learn and iterate, passionate about design and storytelling.
• Experience with web or mobile technologies using tools like Sketch, Adobe CC, Balsamiq, Zeplin, ProtoPie, Miro, etc.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (verbal and written).
• A strong sense of accountability, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams across design, business, and tech.
• Knowledge of eCommerce or digital travel/lifestyle industries, especially in SE Asia or regional markets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consensus-building within a dynamic organization.
• Experience with web/mobile technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android Studio, XCode, and Design Systems.
• Effective design sensibilities aligned with branding for digital experiences.
