Overview

Associate Sales Engineer, Pharma/Chemical - Industry South Asia (Indonesia)

What is the job about? Handling of sales within the assigned business scope within the framework of the company’s strategies and policies. Responsible for the designated business area – Pharma/Chemical Industry South Asia - Indonesia.

Responsibilities
  • Realize individual sales targets in the assigned area.
  • Implement sales policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Maintain existing customers and dealers base and assist in developing plans, budget and promotional activities.
  • Identify and develop vertical leads in Pharma/Chemical with the potential to use Grundfos products & services.
  • Ensure full collaboration with customer service and service teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Achieve agreed marketing goals that align with commercial priorities, sales volumes and contribution targets.
  • Register all activities with customers in the global CRM tool; register and nurture opportunities in the global CRM tool according to company guidelines; ensure customer master data is updated in the portfolio of customers under their responsibility.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
Your background / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environment Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related fields, with 1–3 years of relevant experience in industry products.
  • Experience in either pharmaceutical or chemical industry sectors is required.
  • Successful track record in customer development and management as a salesperson.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience is required.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across regions, borders and all levels.
  • Indonesian citizenship is required.
