Associate Representative, Customer Service and Support
The position is responsible for the overall supervision of the accounts assigned to the CSR with the primary objective of meeting and satisfying the customer’s needs and requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of customer shipments and ensure that customer’s requirements are met
- Provide account with cost-effective shipment plan via booking authorization
- Book approved shipment with nominated carriers
- Plan consol shipments and coordinate with warehouse on cargo deliveries
- Release non-negotiable e-FCR and BL to vendor to docs processing
- Receive and check docs for accuracy and completeness before dispatching
- Report local issues that may affect shipment to consignee (non-compliant vendors/carrier space/ or docs problems/delayed vessel etc)
- Coordinate with manager/team leader daily issues that may affect shipment (late deliveries or documents/inaccurate final booking details/carrier or warehouse problems)
- Provide account with required reports (tonnage/allocation/docs log control/vendor-compliant/monthly invoice summary)
- Provide customers updates related to their shipments
Qualification
- University Degree, preferably majoring in Economic, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain / Logistics or related majors
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
- Knowledge in Sea / Air Freight will be added advantage
- Pleasant personality with positive working attitude
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
