Job summary

Flex Batam, Indonesia is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor to oversee multiple production lines in a technically demanding environment. You will lead a team of engineers and operators, monitor performance, and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and implement process changes to meet customer requirements while ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in production/manufacturing or related field.
• 2–3 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with process improvement and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment.
• Manages a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements.
• Reviews daily plant operating performance and advises on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoots operational problems and provides resolution approaches.
• Coaches operators to improve performance and capabilities.
• Evaluates ideas for plant improvements and develops proposals with engineers.
• Provides technical/operational advice to project teams.
• May interface between operations and maintenance and train junior staff.
• Prioritizes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Participates in process development and cost-improvement projects.
• Assists in department budgeting and manages expenses.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and ensures safety guidelines are followed.
