Job Description
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end process of small to large purchases, with medium to high complexity, through RFx processes, including negotiating to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
- Devising and using effective procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Ensuring tender strategies, documentation, and decisions comply with policies and procedures.
- Handling contract settlements for sourcing results.
- Reviewing existing contracts to ensure they are up-to-date, legally sound, and aligned with current business needs.
- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiating procurement partnerships, including maintaining the Vendor Database.
- Conducting spend analysis and reporting to track key metrics, define cost optimization, and enhance effectiveness.
- Managing day-to-day procurement operations.
- Managing vendor performance evaluations.
- Performing risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
- Controlling spend and fostering a culture of long-term savings.
- Demonstrating best-in-class procurement practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams for strategic sourcing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of sourcing experience in IT procurement (hardware and software).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools to influence business decisions.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of spend analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels and adaptability to dynamic environments.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings, balancing quality and speed.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Initiative to streamline processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Project management experience is a plus.
