Mineski Indonesia is seeking a motivated FP&A assistant to join our finance team in Jakarta. You will monitor project expenses, support budgeting, and assist with financial closures while maintaining accurate data and FP&A documentation.
You will collaborate with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders, analyze variances, and help improve FP&A processes and reporting. A 1–3 year background in FP&A or related roles is preferred.
Monitor project expenses and costs against approved budgets, identify material variances or potential overruns, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders before financial approval.
Support and coordinate project financial closure, including actual cost verification, outstanding expense tracking, cost-closing meetings, and completion of required financial information.
Monitor overhead expenses and CAPEX against approved budgets and highlight material variances or unusual spending.
Review assigned Finance approval requests, ensuring completeness of supporting documents, budget availability, and compliance with Finance requirements.
Maintain accurate financial data, trackers, and supporting documentation required for FP&A analysis and reporting.
Support the assigned Senior Associate FP&A in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and other FP&A activities as required.
Maintain and improve Finance Lark Base, reporting tools, and FP&A workflows to improve process efficiency, data visibility, and accuracy.
Support ad hoc financial analysis and Regional Finance initiatives as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, cost control, accounting, business finance, or a related Finance role.
Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and basic financial statements.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable working with financial data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and financial variances.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and willing to learn, with an interest in financial analysis, systems, automation, and process improvement.
