Job summary

PT. Bangkit Lakuliner Indonesia is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in South Jakarta.

You will lead planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis to guide strategic decisions and optimize financial performance. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in financial accounting and FP&A, strong Excel and financial modelling skills, and professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting and reporting, with at least 3 years in FP&A or a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets and models.
• Conduct variance analysis with explanations for deviations from budgeted performance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Analyze operations to identify cost optimization, revenue growth and profitability improvements.
• Collaborate with department heads to establish budgets and KPIs.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects for senior management.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting processes.
• Maintain and improve financial systems, tools and processes for efficiency.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This role is pivotal to our financial strategy and operational success. As FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and insights that drive informed decision-making across the organisation. You will play a critical role in supporting business growth, optimising financial performance and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets and financial models that support strategic planning and business initiatives
• Conducting variance analysis and providing detailed explanations for deviations from budgeted performance
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and performance dashboards for senior management and stakeholders
• Analysing business operations and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, revenue growth and improved profitability
• Collaborating with departmental leaders to establish realistic budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior management
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data and reporting processes
• Maintaining and improving financial systems, tools and processes for enhanced efficiency and reporting capability
• Presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic business decisions

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting and reporting, with at least 3 years in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) or similar role
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated expertise in using Excel, financial planning software and accounting systemsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial work
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English
• Professional accounting qualification (such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Experience within the hospitality, food and beverage or retail sectors would be advantageous
