Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Eng, or related field.
Minimum 1 year experience as Data Engineer.
Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and pipelines.
Solid knowledge of SQL and RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server).
Familiar with ETL concepts and data warehousing.
Basic knowledge of cloud services (Google Cloud or AWS).
Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Familiar with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and data accuracy.
Team collaboration and communication/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Create SQL queries to deliver ad-hoc BI requirement.
Contribute to automation, performance tuning, and optimization of data systems.
Write and optimize SQL queries to access and manipulate large datasets.
Create BI mechanisms (interactive reports, dashboards, alerts, scheduled emails) using BI tools.
Understand customer business flow and monitor data quality.
Be aware of important customer business metrics.
Perform basic SQL operations (select, join, conditions).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy.
